Judge Edward J. and Ruey L. Guirado Chair in Law and Psychology
USC Law is an ideal place to be a professor. It combines intellectual rigor and hard work with Southern Californian cordiality.
What I especially love about USC Law is the way it mixes disciplines together. As a child psychologist and a lawyer, I found USC Law uniquely hospitable to my interests in both fields, and in my desire to pursue research that would have practical value for attorneys working with child witnesses.
The students at USC are the happiest I have ever seen. They are dedicated without being cut-throat, intense without being arrogant.
